REFUREC welcomes Energistyrelsen as new Secretariat

Today, the Danish Energy Agency (Energistyrelsen), responsible for tasks linked to energy production, supply and consumption, as well as Danish efforts to reduce carbon emissions, has taken over the REFUREC secretariat for two years. Denmark is participating in the network since its first meeting in 2009, and highly values this forum for co-operation and sharing information and best practices.

The agency appreciates the valuable work done by the previous secretariats and wants to further establish the collaboration with the member states in an open, fruitful and co-operative spirit, and looks forward to working together with all members in dealing with the many challenges in our efforts to achieve our renewable energy targets.
